POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are currently hiring a Machine Operator. This position will operate the seeding machine in our Greenhouse site based in Harrisonburg. The Operator must be team player and willing to work flexible hours. This position works at least every other Saturday. The Operator reports to the site General Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for inventory and the seeding process for the Living Organic Herbs and Microgreens products
• Rotates with another Machine Operator to ensure the Company’s goals are met
• Maintains a clean work environment
• Assist other departments as needed, when acting as the secondary Operator
• Responsible for seed application rate and product quality, when acting as the primary Operator
• Calibrates, cleans, operates all parts of the machinery to run the seeding line
• Follows instructions; verbal & written to stay on production schedule
• Adheres to all Company’s process and policies
• Other tasks might be assigned per management

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• 6 months of experience in operating machinery preferred
• Bi-lingual English and Spanish preferred but not required
• Able to lift 40 lbs. or more as needed
• Must be able to operate a pallet-jack
